In 1996 with the increased demand for telecommunication installation
services, two enterprising individuals, Mike Diamond and Vince Raimondi,
founded Contel Inc. The company was established on the principals of
total customer satisfaction, with great attention to service and quality.
The integrity Contel employees display today is a direct reflection of
its founders.
1997 through 1998 brought an increased demand for Contel’s services.
The company began growing, expanding with personnel who would embody
the philosophies of it’s founder’s. Contel also began to
grow geographically. It expanded from its then current territory of
metropolitan Chicago to include other midwestern states.
In 1999, realizing its customer’s needs for expanded services,
Contel increased its services to include engineering, the furnishing
of materials, and total project management. Once again with its
services in high demand the company grew geographically expanding its
reach
to the west coast. Today Contel services customers across North
America.
In 2002 the company expanded its services to include cable management
systems to business and residential clients. This expansion in services
has brought Contel full circle enabling the company to offer cabling
services to virtually all types of customers.
Contel, Inc. has become a
recognized leader in the industry with full EF&I services of high
speed, high bandwidth cable and equipment for the transmission of voice,
data, video and other telecommunications
