Contel is the primary
sponsor of the Contel Fishing Team. The team competes in the nations
largest and oldest team walleye fishing venue - the Cabella’s
sponsored Masters Walleye Circuit. Fishing on lakes and rivers the team
travels throughout the Midwest to locations such as Lake Pepin, Lake
City, MN - Big Stone Lake, Ortonville MN - Little and Big Bays De Noc,
Gladstone, MI – Illinois River, Spring Valley, IL – Lake
Erie, OH – Green Bay, Oconto, WI – Lake Millacs, Onamia,
MN.
The MWC donates proceeds from each tournament to the conservation fund
of each local community. These proceeds are derived from sponsors as
well as the fishermen. All tournaments the Contel Team competes in are
Catch and Release Tournaments.
